We are pleased to announce that, effective July 31st, 2025, Uni-Chem has been acquired by FAGRON B.V., headquartered at Fascinatio Boulevard 350, 3065 WB Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch trade register under the number 30064580. In addition to Uni-Chem, Fagron has also acquired the company SB Trade in Serbia, and these two companies will form the business unit Fagron Serbia.

Fagron NV is a publicly traded multinational group of companies listed on Euronext Brussels and Euronext Amsterdam. Fagron Group is the leading global player in pharmaceutical compounding, focusing on delivering personalized medicine to hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, and patients in more than 35 countries in EMEA, North America and Latin America with more than 4,100 employees and revenues of EUR 872m in 2024.

This acquisition represents a significant milestone for both Uni-Chem and Fagron, creating value for all stakeholders. Uni-Chem will benefit from Fagron’s operational, financial, commercial, and quality expertise, while continuing to serve customers with a broader, more integrated range of offerings. Fagron’s unique position in its science-based branded products will reinforce Uni-Chem offering and support the compounding in Serbia. As part of the Fagron Group, we will enjoy the stability and support of a publicly listed global healthcare leader, while maintaining the level of service and dedication you have come to expect from us.

Importantly, Uni-Chem’s operations will continue as usual and your contact at Uni-Chem will remain unchanged. The role of Business Leader will be assumed by Marijana Djordjevic – Kaurin, while Mr. Nenad Sunjevaric, Uni-Chem’s founder and former CEO, is preparing for retirement but will continue in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
