The privacy policy is intended for all visitors to the website https://www.uni-chem.rs/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

This Website may contain links to third-party websites. Please note that these websites are not under our control and are governed by their own privacy policies. UNI-CHEM is not responsible for the privacy practices of any such websites.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about our privacy and personal data protection practices, the legal basis for data processing, the purpose of processing, methods of data collection, methods of data storage, data retention periods, and other necessary information related to personal data processing. Our entire business is based on the principle of transparency and other processing principles in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 87/2018), and this Privacy Policy is drafted in accordance with the aforementioned law applicable to the Website.

PURPOSE OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

We process your personal data in order to provide you with services and enable the use of the website and its content upon your request or initiative (by accessing our website).

The Data Controller collects your personal data to respond to and act upon your requests submitted through this website. Data is collected for the following purposes:

 

  • Establishing communication with individuals interested in initiating a business contact;
  • Providing information related to our services;
  • Ensuring a communication channel for submitting notifications about adverse reactions for the purpose of pharmacovigilance/vigilance and complaints regarding product and service quality;

  • Handling your requests submitted via the contact form on our website, responding to inquiries and queries submitted via contact form on our website;

In such cases, a legitimate interest assessment will be conducted before the data collection and processing, should it happen, in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Authorized personnal within UNI-CHEM will have access to your personal data solely for the purpose of carrying out tasks necessary to fulfil the processing objectives, following the principle of “minimum necessary rights.” Your data will not be shared with third parties unless required for UNI-CHEM to comply with relevant legal obligations. In addition to the above, other data processors engaged by UNI-CHEM for data processing activities may also have access to your data. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Your personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the specific purpose for which they were collected and no longer than that, unless a longer processing period is specifically required in accordance with applicable laws.

  • if you withdraw the consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal basis for processing such data;
  • in case of an obligation to delete data in order to comply with a legal obligation to which UNI-CHEM is subject;

Data collected during the provision of UNI-CHEM services will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil contractual obligations, as well as for an appropriate period after the termination of the contract to carry out follow-up actions and any obligations prescribed by law.

  • the right to be informed about the processing of personal data, i.e., the right to request and receive additional information related to the processing of your personal data,
  • the right of access, i.e., the right to view the personal data we process about you,
  • the right to obtain a copy of the personal data we process about you,
  • the right to request correction, completion, and updating of the personal data we process about you,
  • the right to request the deletion of your personal data,
  • the right to restrict the processing of your personal data,
  • the right to object,
  • the right to data portability, which implies your right to receive the data you have previously provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as to transfer the data to another party or request that the data controller directly provides the data to another party.

We note that some rights may be limited in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Republic of Serbia in the field of personal data protection, particularly to the extent that limiting your rights is necessary to protect the rights and freedoms of others, or to ensure compliance with the legal obligations of the Data Controller that require the processing of data, as well as the submitting, exercising, or defending a legal claim, or when the processing is conducted for scientific or historical research purposes, or for statistical purposes.

In order to exercise the rights mentioned above, we may request that you provide additional information necessary to confirm your identity.

If you believe that the processing of your data is being conducted in violation of the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (www.poverenik.rs).

The data collected through the Website will not be used for any automated decision-making or profiling of the individuals to whom the data relates.

 

PERSONAL DATA TRANSFER

The personal data collected through the Website will not be transferred outside the Republic of Serbia, except in cases where third-party cookies are used, for which UNI-CHEM cannot be held responsible.

If there is a subsequent need for the transfer of personal data, such a transfer will not be made to countries or territories that are not members of the Council of Europe Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data, or that do not provide an adequate level of protection in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law. If such a transfer becomes necessary, UNI-CHEM will take special data protection measures and will act in accordance with the procedure established by the Personal Data Protection Law of the Republic of Serbia.
